Yes. It entered Early Access on 15 April 2025 and launched version 1.0 on 15 September 2026. The 1.0 update is called Scorned Wilderness, and Early Access has ended.

The standard edition is $29.99 or £24.99. The Deluxe Edition is $39.99, and the Deluxe upgrade is $9.99. Jagex said on 2 September 2026 that the price will not rise after 1.0.

Yes, but it is not on by default. The host has to enable crossplay when they load or host a world. A world holds up to 4 players, and solo play is fully supported.

Yes. It joined Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus Extra / Premium on launch day. Subscription catalogues change, so check your console store before relying on it.

Skills go to 99, but normal play levels them for you, so you rarely need to farm. Difficulty comes from Power Level: under-levelled armour gets you flattened in higher regions. Better gear helps more than better reflexes.

Steam concurrents are in the tens of thousands, with a 24-hour peak near 22,600. Jagex says more than 1.5 million players joined during Early Access. Solo play is barely affected.

Ashenfall keeps growing after 1.0

The free winter update Luminance adds the Prayer skill and a new building kit, and Jagex says monthly updates continue. Get the current version right first.
